Greetings of the Season, fellow retirees:
Our Heritage Committee is off and running. We applied to the Provincial Heritage Committee for funding with a step-by-step plan. It was received with a very supportive letter from the chair and, at their December 3rd meeting, we were approved.
The cheque is in your account. We now proceed with information gathering and interviews. The title for Phase Two is “Community Schools of our Past”. Like the first phase this will be a visual pictorial collage, but already we sense that this one will require anecdotal information. How to present this? Who knows? Any ideas out there?
Our project must be complete by June 30, 2009.
