Creston March 20, 2004
Once again, the hospitality at the Spring Unit Team event was
second to none. We had great homemade cookies & squares and the Unit
pitched in and bought pizza at the completion of the game.
Congratulations to Lillian & Denis Nevin playing with Rick
Pater & Hart Leppard who pulled off the win despite losing early in the
event to the eventual Flight B & C winners (all juniors by the way!) -
Trevor Hart, Sara Thiel, Adam Thiel and Tim MacHattie. They finished 3rd
overall behind 2 time defending champs Libby Weaver, Wayne Weaver, Dave Thiel
& Maggie Thiel who finished 1/4 of a point behind the Pater team.

- 25th and Rossland July 23 - 25th for
the sectional tournaments. Our fall pair game is usually held in early
October and we will post the date on the website as well as email everyone once
arrangements are finalized. Don't forget to send your email address to
